Two days until the biggest Sodexo Salon Culinaire Ever

After months of planning, there are just two days left until Sodexo’s largest ever Salon Culinaire, held at Ascot Racecourse this Wednesday 21st October.

The Sodexo Salon programme is the largest of its kind in the UK and second only to Hotelympia and the Restaurant Show, both leading industry wide events. From guest chef judges, celebrity chefs, amazing demonstrations on the day and the various features on offer to the extreme efforts of many competitors to do their very best, there is so much to be proud of and to celebrate.

This year’s highlights include:

-10 competition kitchens running a selection of live classes including apprentice classes, street food Challenge, the Grand Prix Challenge and the Sodexo Young Chef of the Year.

-Chef demonstration skills from celebrity chefs James Tanner and Phil Vickery as well as a father and son duo and this year’s National Chef of the Year.

-Supplier exhibition and artisan village with over 60 exhibitors displaying a vast array of food, equipment and services over two floors.

-The grand final of the Sodexo National Barista competition.

-A street food village will provide hospitality on the day with new concepts and on-trend food available for all.

-The omelette challenge and cup-cake challenge.

This event is a fantastic showcase for the passion and high quality of culinary talent which exists amongst our Sodexo staff from across the UK and Ireland.
