At the beginning of the year, Sodexo teamed up with Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social innovators, to explore what we could do to support a more sustainable food system and what that could look like in UK and Ireland.
Last week I was delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the Disability Innovation Summit, an event organised by the Global Disability Innovation HUB, a group made up of academics, innovators and community organisations, in which Sodexo have become involved through our client University College London.

I was pleasantly overwhelmed on arrival by the positive and collaborative atmosphere in the room. The event brought together more than 100 professionals from every element of the catering, procurement and marketing spectrum, from the chefs and operators all the way through to suppliers and everyone in between.
